What’s for Lunch During A UTV Tour to The Knik Glacier?
After spending hours exploring the backcountry, your guide will fire up the grill while everyone takes in the incredible surroundings. Lunch features grilled reindeer dogs served with all the fixings, creating a meal that’s uniquely Alaskan and super tasty after a morning out on the trail.
While most adventures end with a meal back in town, ours is just getting started! As the reindeer dogs sizzle on the grill, you’ll have front-row seats to one of the best lunch views anywhere in the state!
The turquoise waters of Knik Glacier Lake are dotted with floating icebergs, while the towering face of the Knik Glacier rises in the distance. It’s the kind of setting that makes you slow down, take a deep breath, and appreciate just how wild Alaska really is.
Whether you’re filling your camera roll or simply taking it all in, this stop at the glacier is the highlight of the day for many visitors.
Once everyone has had a chance to refuel, we’ll have some more time to soak in the scenery before climbing back into the UTVs for the ride home.

The Ride Back Is Just as Fun
Once lunch time is over, it’s time to fire the engines back up for some more adventure.
The return trip offers another chance to splash through creek crossings, ride alongside the mighty Knik River, and enjoy the ever-changing scenery from a different perspective.
By the time you make it back to the trailhead, you’ll have covered more than 40 miles of rugged Alaska terrain, crossed rivers, shared a meal beside a glacier, and experienced a side of Alaska that very few visitors ever get to see.
